Doug Bowman provides some sound advice on Twitter: “Never underestimate the reach of a @dribbble shot.”
Bowman joined Twitter just over a year ago from Google. He has been responsible for the continuous stream of interface/interaction/experience/design improvements that have been made to Twitter’s web interface since then. This weekend’s tweet followed a positive online reaction to a post on Bowman’s Dribbble account. The 400 × 300 pixels ‘shot’ shows a fraction of what he describes as a ‘significant redesign’ of Twitter’s web interface. The shot has received 36,089 views to date; at least 34,000 more than other popular shots on the site.
Web commentators expect more information to leak (or indeed a full-launch to occur) later this week at Twitter’s first developer conference — ‘Chirp’.
[For those of you who're unaware, Dribbble shots are now available for all to see.]
